In a bizarre turn of events, Bittu Bajrangi, a prominent Faridabad cow activist and head of Gaurksha Bajrang Bal, was arrested by plainclothes cops of Nuh police on Tuesday afternoon. He was caught during a brief but intense chase that was caught on CCTV cameras near the residence of Bittu Bajrangi.
The arrest of Bittu Bajrangi is linked to his alleged involvement in the recent violence in Nuh and Gurugram. Fierce clashes broke out when Bittu Bajrangi was chased by police wielding batons and guns near his house. CCTV footage showed the moment when plainclothes police suddenly appeared and chased Gosa, who was taken by surprise by their swift arrival. About 15 to 20 officers were involved in the chase, and residents watched the scene unfold. The chase meandered through the streets of Faridabad and ended in the arrest of Bittu Bajrangi.

Who is Bittu Bajrangi?
Bittu Bajrangi, whose real name is Rajkumar, has long been a prominent figure in cow-herds circles in Faridabad. As the head of the Faridabad Gaurksha Bajrang Bal, he became famous for his strong advocacy of cow protection. The circumstances of his arrest stem from his association with the Bajrang Dal event known as "Brijmandal Jalbhishek Yatra" on July 31. Violence has marred the event aimed at Muslim communities in Nuhnagar. He was questioned by police before being arrested. Notably, the arrest of Bittu Bajrangi was the first major arrest related to the Nuh violence case.
At a Bajrang Dal meeting that turned violent, Bittu Bajrangi allegedly claimed that weapons were seized from law enforcement personnel during the clashes. This alleged act was a key factor in his arrest on Tuesday.
In the wake of the recent Haryana riots, Bittu Bajrangi was first booked by the Faridabad police on August 4. However, he was granted bail on the same day, followed by an end to developments in his recent arrest.
